Rod has more than 35 years' marketing communications experience. He started his career as a staff writer for a suburban Chicago daily newspaper. He later joined Covey & Koons as a copywriter and subsequently served as account executive, vice president and president.
Rod and his wife Kathie launched Covey-Odell Advertising in 2008; the company was named Business of the Year by the North Canton Area Chamber of Commerce. Covey-Odell merged with Crowl Marketing | Creative in 2017.
Jeff's father, Ray Crowl founded Crowl, Montgomery & Clark in 1959. Jeff joined the agency in 1971 after graduating from Bowling Green State University. He has been named Advertising Person of the Year by the Canton Advertising Club, an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation. Jeff also provides account service management to a variety of clients.
Jeff is very involved in community activities, but can always find time to play plenty of golf - whether here in Ohio, or in Florida.
Dane brings to the firm an eclectic group of skills and talents, tapping into his expertise as a photographer, he is responsible for managing our in-house photography studio, image editing and retouching. In addition, Dane’s responsibilities include computer graphics production, computer support, media buying and managing several key accounts.
In 1988 Dane earned a bachelor of business administration in marketing from Kent State University. He resides in Hartville and has two children.
Drew attended school at the Ohio State University, and worked for two years at Ernst & Young after graduation, where he worked on the largest client in the Cleveland area. He then decided to join the family business in 2017, and has been serving as Account Manager for CMC ever since.
Drew is an avid sports fan, supporting all Cleveland sports teams, as well as all Ohio State teams. He is also a huge movie/independent film fanatic.
Rod has more than 25 years of strategic marketing experience, specifically in new product development, branding and sales channel development. He is also integrally involved in marketing planning for each of the agency's clients. In addition, Rod provides account service management to a number of CMC's clients.
Rod continues to be the tireless leader at CMC, developing new business, seeking out new clients, and keeping us pointed in the direction of always moving forward. When he takes a break, Rod devotes his time to family, friends and the community.
Anne comes to CMC with 6 years of experience in graphic design after graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design. She started off on the right foot with impeccable design work for several large clients and hasn't looked back since. She has an unflappable attitude and robot-like efficiency, and as an added bonus, brings a great sense of humor to work everyday.
Anne has recently returned to the corporate world after a brief hiatus to raise her 2 children. In addition to being a finger painter and bubble blower, she is a coffee connoisseur and a big fan of adding shows to her Netflix queue.
Julie's strong organizational skills help her to maintain office cohesion and to tackle various administrative tasks for the agency. She helps in the setup of digital media plans for clients and assists all the account executives.
Julie’s passion for baking has evolved into her own baking business. She loves collecting recipes, cooking and is a true football enthusiast.
Frank continues to work on various multimedia projects while also managing clients. His responsibilities include project managing, designing and traveling to different locations for video shoots where he serves as director. Frank also does what he can to make sure the artists are equipped with the newest tools and resources enabling them to continue creating award-winning designs.
Frank has a passion for movies, cooking and biking the trails in the Akron Metro Parks. He also loves working out and taking trips to Maine to see family, hike the mountains, kayak and to just relax and get away from it all.
Chris has cemented himself as the go-to guy due to his determination, hard work, and complete inability to complain – a very rare quality in talented designers. Chris' ability to learn new technologies and skills make him an indispensable member of the CMC team.
Chris enjoys listening to new music and canvas painting, and relishes a competitive board game with his kids.
